They both sings good, Difference is Pavarotti has the passion on what he sings. Almost like he meant every single words coming out of his mouth.

Whenever Pavarotti sung anything he did it with such passion and power that to compare him to Paul Potts is like comparing water with the finest Champaign. The power and stamina you need to have to sing an opera puts all opera singers into a class of their own and Pavarotti was one of the greatest. I'm not knocking Paul Potts, he can sing and good luck to him, but he is not an opera singer only a concert singer and as such can never rival the likes of Pavarotti.

Paul Potts is no where near Pav.
He's not reading the words he's reading the notes just like the violinist
He was a saint off stage his life was so perfect he had no reason to be anything but modest and kind.

Paul Potts is no where near as good. He's probably only looking at the paper to ensure his timing is on, I'm sure he knew the words quite well. And who cares if he was cocky off stage or not, the man was the greatest opera singer of his time, possible of all time.
