Blah dis is gay the champ of kyokushin is sum gay ass brazilian guy, he doesnt even show any skills, he mostly jus does like running kicks, punches and low kicks.

I always thought that Kyokushin was founded by a Korean guy called Choi Badell. In fact there is a film called fighter in the wind which is all about the development about this art. I have trained in a few martial arts and would love to give this one ago. If you get the chance to see the film its better than the house of flying daggers and all that crap.

Kyokushin is a form of karate (like fx. Shotokan, Ashihara and other.) It has its origins on the Japanese island of Okinawa where it was developed from traditional karate in 1964 by Mas Oyama. Unlike traditional karate that employs many linear techniques the kyokushin kai (meaning the true way)- inspired by european boxing - introduced circular punches like hooks and uppercuts.

Well I figure after years and year of taking a beating from the head down, you can pretty much say screw the body, I'll protect my head and when you're taking body shots that will bounce off the conditioned abs, they'll lay a good one to the face ^^

Francisco Filho, Andy Hug, Bas Rutten, Georges St. Pierre. All have trained kyokushin, its great for stand up fighting. Once your body is conditioned from kyoukushin the main thing you gotta defend is your head.
