Here is a video of Canada's first F5 Tornado (upgraded from F4) taken from one mile away that devastated the western part of Elie, Manitoba on Friday June 22nd, 2007...the video ends with a second tornado (F3 Rated) near Oakville. This one was on the ground the same time as the Elie tornado, but I didn't catch it until the Elie one lifted and I was driving towards Elie to see what happened there...I turned around and tried to intercept it, but it got rain-wrapped and fell apart after about 10 minutes.
hahaha, no

By supergirl13k [Affiliate User] 1206468210 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYour all dummies. I'm speaking of those who claim it's a wimpy F2. I'm sure you know this, but it's not based on the -width- of the tornado, it's based on the -wind speed- and the damage it causes. Educate yourselves! Giant penis cloud *laughs*
By SektoraSektor [Affiliate User] 1206455445 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeand its canadas only f5 and south of the border well you guys take the cake for the most f5's ever seen
By theclubman [Affiliate User] 1206455003 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removedumb ppl choose to argue windspeed has nothing to do with the size

---F5 tornado at least a mile wide---, select second link (Top Ten Deadliest Tornadoes). first listing on the page, 1/3 mile wide f5 tornado. F5 does not mean a mile wide. Size does not necessarily equal strength with tornadoes.
lol, a F5 tornado is like 300 meters wide -.-
By ixioxi [Affiliate User] 1206435476 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDude, people tend to confuse the situation and assume because it's an F5, it's always a huge "wedge" tornado. While F5's can be big, they can also be fairly small. This doesn't look like an F5, true, but the Fujita scale is based on the rotating wind speed of the funnel, not the size.
By StarRaper [Affiliate User] 1206394103 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDude, an F5 tornado is at least a mile wide. That was obviously not a mile wide. Look up some basic info.
By Kasbm [Affiliate User] 1206391224 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeit wasnt that big but the windspeeds were high
By theclubman [Affiliate User] 1206389746 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou can't tell what the speed of the tornado by the size of it. Only windspeed that's calculated by the effect of the storm on objects.

By robbraught44 [Affiliate User] 1206367795 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou know what? maybe in Canada, that might be a F5, but in the states, it would not be one. both of us have very strong thoughts about this, and im not trying to piss anyone off, but i really dont think thats a freaking F5, it pointless to go back and forth about this. so you canadans have fun with your "F5" tornado! but here in the grand USA, wouldnt have come close compared to what we get
By RMBraught [Affiliate User] 1206367708 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveA giant cloud penis devastates Canada!
Where exactly is Elie in Manitoba? Is it really south? I've just never heard of too many tornadoes in Canada. But then again, we don't really hear anything about Canada in the States...
ya...your absolutely right. It wasn't an F5. Environment Canada was wrong for assessing it as such, and it didn't damage anything and completely destroy houses on the Western side of town. Must have been a dream. All the reports? What reports? Unless you were there...you wouldn't understand...I can send you some pictures of the damage if ur seriously going to argue with me! I bet then, you'll drop it!
By justin1569 [Affiliate User] 1206351742 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei was on that road 15 before the tornado.
By WoWpallyup [Affiliate User] 1206346055 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removedude i think your just fishing for trying to prove me wrong, it was NOT an f5, ive read all the reports on it, and it barely touched the town enough to be classified has an F5. It just didnt touch enough stuff to be classified has that!
