And before you even say it... Obama has been through an 18-month roller coaster ride. He's been through 20+ debates, the last few were one on one with the toughest political family the Democrats could throw at him. 18 mil. voters did not give him a 'pass'. Harvard Law did not give him a 'pass'.

Do you know what equality means? Equality means having both parties judged solely on merit and not on anything else. NONE OF THIS DISCUSSION has to do with Palin as a woman. This discussion has everything to do with her policies, her ideas, and her qualifications to be VP.

Her 17 y.o.'s pregnancy should be a private family matter, like infidelity. But, Rep. are the party that puts themselves on a high ground of moral standards. Hammering the notion that charater matters, while their kids are getting hammered w/o condoms. Perhaps "Just say NO" abstinance ONLY policy doesn't work as well as "Just say KNOW" sex education. Her family needs her more than her country. The Religious Right is taking this opportunity to show GREAT hypocricy. Can U say, Shotgun wedding?

Now that we're going through an historic moment of a woman vying for Vice President, you would think that everyone would be ecstatic. Apparently not if the woman happens to have an (R) after their name. Who's the redneck here?!

Apparently, you're completely unaware of what it takes to go to Heaven. The two men that were crucified alongside Jesus were murderers. One repented on the cross and went to Heaven, the other didn't and went to Hell. You can be a complete bastard your entire life, but if you repent before you die - even if it's just one second - and truly mean it, then you will be accepted into Heaven. Obama and Biden have both declared that they are not planning on responding to palins pregnency. They realize how much its hurting their campaign because she relates to the average American and if they do comment on her daughters pregnancy it will only hurt them more because their is no way to cleanly address this.

I really wish people would think through this with an unbiased opinion. Does anybody see that Palin was preaching abstinence and her daughter being a teenage girl, she saw this as a clear way of defying her? Plus, there is nothing a parent can do to prevent their children from doing something of this nature. Teenagers will do as they please, and the parents trying to prevent something from happening will only provoke it. Plus get real.... Her daughter did not have a child with downs....

The significant part of this story is that McCain did very little research as to his running mate before chosing Palin. Even GOP leaders in Alaska have commented that no one was up there asking about Palin's background. His sole end was to toss a bone to the ReligiousReich types in his party.

The real question is: as president, would McCain be as impulsive and caprecious in other matters, especially where the lives of Americans are at stake?

She wants to run the country but can't even keep a leash on her daughter. That's pathetic.

She told the public that she had a Down Syndrome infant to get votes and come off as this super mom. Well that is as private a family matter as it gets. The governor can't have her cake and eat it to. Report the good and noble characteristics of the family not the negative? That's hypocrisy and the media should not fall for it.

Pregnant at age 17? I believe that what Palin wants for her daughter, and a really positive role model for girls in this country, what happen to family value??? Now, this is a NEWS! Sorry, but I can't stand hypocracy or people telling other people how they should behave morally. Sarah Palin is against birth control (ANY!!) and pro abstinance before marriage. She's against funding for sex ed in schools and all the rest. And now the truth arises and I'm so glad because this is such a lesson for everybody. Human beings are just what they are, we know it too well. Like, how to tell peope how they should run their families, and then doing just the opposite.
