Does anybody see that Palin was preaching abstinence and her daughter being a teenage girl, she saw this as a clear way of defying her? Plus, there is nothing a parent can do to prevent their children from doing something of this nature. Teenagers will do as they please, and the parents trying to prevent something from happening will only provoke it. Plus get real.... Her daughter did not have a child with downs....

    The significant part of this story is that McCain did very little research as to his running mate before chosing Palin. Even GOP leaders in Alaska have commented that no one was up there asking about Palin's background. His sole end was to toss a bone to the ReligiousReich types in his party.
