Decode a Combination Lock

Thanks a lot ... you saved my lock from beeing destroyed.

For some reasons 2 of the digits were different from what they used to be but your video helped me out of this. In my case I had to turn the wheel back only 2 steps instead of three as mentioned in the video.

nevermind. I put a radius on the gauge to prevent poking myself, which effectively lessened the impact of the gauge falling in the groove. Got it now. Thanks.

Has anyone tried this with a brinks combination lock? It looks exactly the same, but when i tried it, i could feel no stop. I have a sensitive feel and was wondering if i am doing something wrong. Thanks for your input!

It will, you might need a thinner piece of metal to do this. Tolerances are a lot better on abus locks.
