SEALs BUD/s Training, 1 of 4

yea seals are the best at what they do, and that's why they even exists. SAS are great in many things, speciali in anti terror, but beeing everywhere make's them just like marines..

ok people, heres the facts to alot of false statements i just read. And yes I am in the navy, and in training to be a SEALS arabic linguist. BUDS is NOT the weapons training portion of a seals training. It is simply the physical training part of it, which is why you dont see them go to the range. After buds, those who manage to make it out, go through some of the most extensive weapons training in the world, dont give me that bullshit that the berets, rangers, sas, delta force is better.

To clear some stuff up:
Navy Seals are considered the best amphibious assult team in the world. SAS specializes in hostage rescue, so they are completely different. Marines are tough but Navy Seals are much better then the average Marine. However Marine Force Recon guys are just as tough as Navy Seals. Also you can enter BUDS as young as 17. There are no girls allowed in the SEALS. Finally BUDS is mostly physical training, the tatical part begins during the third phase, and continues.

bud/s isnt just pt thats the first phase..secong phase is super hard dive phase and pt and third phase is wepons and enemy evastion witch is hard and physical training gets harder to

then why is seal training the hardest military training there is?and when S**t starts happening they send us in first in 4 man teams

SEALS are one of the best if not the best amphibious assult teams in the world. They are completely different then SAS who specialize in hostage rescue situations. You can enroll in BUDS as young as 17. SEALS are much better then regular marines but are comparable to the Marine Force Recon who goes through similar training. And SEAL training is not all physical but the first two months of it is, the tatical training comes mostly after you graduate BUDS.

most elite in the world?
DELTA FORCE is more elite, more secretive, more exclusive. the us gov doesnt even confirm or deny its existance cuz its more elite. but here the training for it is publically being filmed

That's just your opinion, there's some training that aren't even let out to the public yet...

can foreign people become seals ?

I beleive for Special forces, its 21 yrs old

im going in about 6 months or so. But im lucky enough to have an X Seal to train with. id rather die in BUD's than not make it

This guys are not the toughest.If the voice of some guy u never met, just says so, u have to belive it? Ok, they might be underwater hard workers..and real lumberjacks,but there are many special troops like that. Try to think that real combat is more imortant then training and that experience does it all and then think at some man who are in combat everyday ...and you'll see ain't the SEALs.Think at Israeli troops...or even better think at BOPE!U don't belive?see what BOPE is about!

the part that blows my mind is where that one guy goes from one level to the next by pulling his legs up over his head and onto the next platform, I COULD NEVER do that.

Navy Seals are really excellent, SAS training has to be the hardest in the world though. Not taking anything away from the Seals, they're hard as nails.

judging by this we are.. look at royal marines thats on par with this an thats not even SAS OR SBS training. ITS A STATE OF MIND!

some ppl always said SEAL r the best ,some said SAS.but if u watch d Combat Missions clip. u will see the some d Special Force even cant fix the AK47, cant do a rope climbing or cant done a normal P.T.

these are "special forces"?
they only train for 24 weeks ffs
a commando trains for 32 weeks.
plus our special forces, you dont apply, you are chosen, chosen from the elite, marines paras raf regiment.
navy seals? give me a break

i am 14 years old i am currently training for this i am lifting wieghts working out my abs and we start running soon

no you dont...the range of a seal would be 18-29..thats it

you can enlist as 17 years old with parrent permission

Pararescueman are pretty tough too. But I won't say they're better. I won't say they're not as good either. All this crap about SEALS and Recon and whatever other SOF is nonsense.

not only did we go to the shooting range, we've been there multiple times. i am an actual BUD/S graduate (class 264). BUD/S is the foundation, then I went to Fort Belling for Jump School, and now im in sqt school. get your S**t straight son, and quit being a know-it-all because you saw something on the military channel
