Create your own Levitation Kit by combining Fun-Fly-Stick and Wobble Bubble! Charge the bubble and control it with the wand.
While any bubble will get charged, cheap water based bubble solutions produce bubbles that do not live long.
We recommend using glycerin based bubble solution so that you can really enjoy the experience controlling the bubble. Out of all solutions we tried, the Wobble Bubble is proved best to work with the FunFlyStick.

THE PROBLEM:
What happens when you are trying to charge a bubble? The bubble attracts to the wand, touches it, and bursts. Unless, of course, you are using so called "dry" bubbles that smell bad and come out very small but they can touch the wand, get the charge, and repel. To charge a soap bubble you have to know the "secret".

THE SECRET:
If you have a way to charge a regular bubble non-contact, faster than it can attract to the wand you will have a bubble that simply repels the wand before it touches it and pops. This is possible to achieve exploiting "electric wind".
The charge concentration at the upper end of the tube is so intense that it ionizes the air in its neighborhood. Positive ions forming nearby the upper end of the tube will move away due to repulsion. The movement of these ions creates the "electric wind".
All you have to do now is to transfer those ions onto the bubble and charge it.

THE TECHNIC:
To feel "electric wind" wipe a palm of your hand with a wet cloth then turn on the Fun-Fly-Stick and slowly slide it along the surface of your wet palm (without contact) you will feel "electric wind" coming from the wand toward your hand. As we explained, the strongest "wind" is when the wand is perpendicular to the palm surface (forming letter "T"). It happens because the tip of the wand has edges and the charge dissipates from sharp edges faster than from the smooth surface.
All you have to do now is to point the tip of the working wand at the bubble (forming letter "i" where bubble is a dot, or "-- o" ), allowing the charge to run onto the bubble non-contact for a few seconds.
You will see that the bubble charges and repels without attracting to the wand.
If your bubble is too heavy and it sinks to the ground, try to get rid of excess of bubble solution by blowing a small bubble (golf ball size) and letting it go, then blow bigger bubble that will be light enough to stay in the air and charge.

STATIC BUBBLEOLOGY:
We played with mylar flyers for a long time, but making statically charged bubble and controlling it is different. Bubbles are heavier than mylar floaters, they have more inertia so they move differently but comply same rules and laws as mylar flyers.
Using your hand above the bubble and Fun-Fly-Stick below the bubble you can keep a bubble in midair without movement. This is not easy to do with mylars since they react to the changes in static field much faster than the bubbles.
You can attract a bubble to the palm of your hand and make it follow your hand. Try landing a bubble onto a target. Experiment with bubbles big and small.
