We have been busy finishing the e-book on weight training . Once we finish the book which can be found on my site in late January you will start to see more video's. The book will be a very valuable tool complete with workoutouts for beginers ,intermidiate and advanced weight trainers. It will have pictures demonstrating diffrent back exercises that will help with width and thickness.

  • If you have access ...

If you have access to a machine called a gravitron at your gym start using it. If not a chair or block placed under the chin up bar will help. Stand on the block and jump up and try to hold and lower yourself slowly. Eventually you will build up to being able to perform the positive portion of the exercise.

  • I personally think ...

I personally think if performed correcly the pull- up is the best exercise for the back. The pulldowns will help you build up the strength you need to eventually perform each rep of the pull -up correcly.

  • Excellent work ...

Excellent work Michael. I see so many people extending and pausing at the bottom. That I began to think I was doing them wrong. You've reinforced my belief on the proper way to perform pull-ups. I also heard if you couldn't go "wide" you really weren't hitting your back effectively.
