That is the problem with our legal system. Someone ATTACKS me. I employ SELF-DEFENSE. Everyone has the right to self-defense. If we don't have an absolute right to self-defense, then you might as well buy some anal lube and carry it with you so that when any criminal wants to screw you it won't hurt so bad. If I'm understanding you correctly, you are somehow saying that self-defense is "unnecessary action" when attacked?

The chances of you freeing yourself from a guy with a gun to your head is 50% possibly lower. Krav Maga is suicide most of the time. When you fight someone who has a weapon and you dont just walk away specially if there is a gun involved.

In all seriousness most bystanders would run away as fast as they could. The few still there would probably be hiding behind something. If they are right beside you when this happens then they would probably crouch or something. This is my 2 cents.

Yes... but if you're training for these things- you have to consider all of this. You may save yourself, but you'll go to prison for awhile if you were found in court to be the reason for harming bystanders because of your unnecessary actions.
