READ DESCRIPTION!

MAFEX was held at Nellis today which
involved nearly 15 C-17's and C-130's from about 12 different bases.

The C-17's came in about 5 groups of 3 with a callsign of THUG and the C-130's came in 2 flights, one flight of 10 Callsign DASH the second flight of 5 Callsign FELON.

I wasn't able to shoot the whole approach(which I did from my bathroom window) because my battery was about to die.

Since I missed this exercise I have to wait till May '09 to shoot the next one.

BTW, MAFEX stands for Mobility Air Forces Exercise.

    I'll understand,i've missed also almost a demo this spring,to busy we are maybe,i'll go tommorow 1 of the last demo's of this year,but its very cold and windy,after then we go rest a little while i guess.or there must come some special ones,few nightshots.
    nice to talk to you about our passion,i'll hope 2009 will be even beautifull as this year.
