    They are like american books, except in japanese (meaning they are backwards, but when they get translated they are just words so it's printed the normal way). They often have a few pictures throughout them as well and are not very long or big (200 pages or less)

    Yes. Seven Seas will be releasing it next year in english. So far there are a total of 12 volumes for the novel (I think) and it is still ongoing. The novel is very good and a lot better than the anime.
