yeewooihan - claims the bible is alltrue and that evidence backs it up. Except for bits like the great flood of course for which there is no evidence at all, plenty of evidence against it, and the idea of getting every animal in the world into a single boat makes no sense at all.

Definitely if scientists want 2 prove God's existence in de same manner. it will not be possible. Just like what Emodomo commented " neither could we put put God inside a box determined by science."We can not put God in de human conceived method 2 prove His existence. If we can, then He is just like one of us; not God. Just like Heaven it is in different realm, we cannot prove it in de scientific manner, but we had testimonies which were given by those who had a glimpse of what it looked like.

Just like the archeological findings on related places and sites mentioned in the Bible, which goes to prove that the Bible recordings are authentic and are backed by the actual historical evidences. Some of towns and locations were not even mentioned by the ancient historical books, but based on the indications and clues from the Bible, they have been found and proven to be correct. They are not fairy tales.

mycastistigger, These are std steps to validate a hypothesis. If you check the steps, it will require the verification to be repeatable? The problem of using the fossils to validate the evolution belief is that it could not be tested according to the above model.

* REPORT results -- Let everyone who's interested know what you found.

* AMEND/CHANGE the hypothesis, or PROPOSE a better solution, and try again.

"Creation science" fails on every one of these. It is not a science at all and enyone who claims it is is either an idiot or a liar. The purpose of "Creation science" is to find evidence for the Bible and to ignore evidence that contradicts it. If you want to teach such nonsense in church okay but it has no place in the classroom.

There are rules to science.

* ASK a question, or POSE a problem you want to solve.

* GATHER information about the question.

* FORM a hypothesis, PROPOSE a solution.

* DEVELOP methods to TEST hypothesis by making MODEL PREDICTIONS

* CONDUCT the experiment, or TEST the proposed solution

* EVALUATE the data -- Is the hypothesis correct? Did it work?

16mangos, Even if you bring an atheist to edge of Hell and let him see the intense burning heat and the screaming and sufferring of the people, he will say it is just a dream or a delusion; not true. He will call the humanistic scientist to prove scientifically its authenticity before they could believe it. Sorry 16mangos!!! It is pointless for me to explain. Why? mycatistigger, as long as evolution or Big bang is not absolutely scientifically proven without a doubt to be true, then the evolutionist educators have no right to remove the teaching of creation science in schools. I would agree both to be taught in the school curriculum.

grenangle, my quote is based on de incident recorded in "lady hope" but denied by his daughter. He could have recommitted his belief in Jesus when his family members were not present. Anyway there is no eyewitness when it happened if there is any. His family has de stake in his fame, money, reputation, recognition by de science academy, etc, n if his family members admitted he has recanted, then they would lost everything that he had achieved so far. mycatistigger, we don't claim those things to be scientific nor do we put God inside a box determined by science. He is much more than that. It was not just a fruit, it was the fruit of knowledge, giving them the power to determine good and evil which was previously a power of God alone. We don't know why he chose to punish them in that way but God's plan is beyond our understanding. If we could understand him, he wouldn't be God. He would just be us.

Probably true. Just don't go tryingn to push your stuff at schoolchildren or claiming its scientific.

Can we put any of it through scientific analysis in an attempt to prove or disprove it? If the answer is no we should disbelieve it.

God created everything in 6 days, if the bible said God created the atoms and the elements which make up creation, forming galaxies and planets, stars, gravity, electromagnetic fields etc, then they would have looked at the bible and said WHAT. bible states to god a second is a thousand years and a thousand years a second, therefore God exists outside of time. A concept we can now understand due to the discovery of the other dimensions and the experimentation with the partical acelerator. etc
