We have seen those amazing videos on YouTube and elsewhere that show dents being removed with dry ice and CO2 spray, which got us quite excited. So we thought we'd give it a go.

Unfortunately we haven't yet got any results that would make it worth attempting. The best we have seen is a percentage improvement. Going back to the videos that so impressed us to see if we were doing anything wrong, we realized that if you look closely, you can see that they didn't completely remove the dents either.

We think it may have a place in dent removal, but it's not likely to put the paintless dent removal technicians out of business any time soon.

This guy is right, - If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Go to any reputable bodyshop and take a look for yourself and you'll not find this practice. Surely if it worked the professionals would use it.

If you look closely at any videos showing the dry ice method, you can see that the dents either aren't completely gone, or you are left with a 'smile', which is a crescent shaped crease that is caused by the dent popping back out. This is fine if you drive an old banger, but if you have a car like the one shown above, you will want it done properly.
