Sweep Picking Practice

lol man i remeber when i first started guitar and i didnt alternate pick, now its hard not to alternate pick, I'm gonna have to give this technique alot of practice and concentration at first i think.

Ive been playing for about the same time except im righty XD My problem is getting it clean anyone have tips?

tylerv1213, my advice dont start sweeping until you have decent speed in alternate picking.

okay; ive been playing for 7 or 8 months and my problem with sweep picking is my sweeping hand cant keep up with my right hand, kinda the opposite of the usual problem. any tips or antything, appreciate it.

how do u keep your sweep from sounding like a pulloff with your left hand movement

So that's how those guys at the guitar shop play so fast all the time! Seriously though, this will help me with my lead playing a great bit, very well explained.

Good song, its 5 string sweeps (I think; I might go learn it tomorow) so dont rush it, learn sweeping at an easy leavle working your way up, then you can go on and play more dificult stuff.

I like the break down before the sweeping in that song:
"Seconds from the end.
Whats it gonna be?
Pull the trigger bitch!"

Sweet song...I'm pretty sure the sweep is a minor but not 100% sure
