When we noticed mouse size bites missing from a toasting loaf at work we decided to set up a mouse trap along with a web cam but didnt bet on the mouse taking the trap with him.

lol. That happened to us before. The only difference: We didn't have a camera, and we have mice. We actually love rats. Not mice.

  • You are far more ...

You are far more likely to get killed from a disease you pick up from a human than a rat because, by the time the disease reaches a point to be potent enough to kill you on a rat, it would have killed the rat.Rabies for example is rare in rats because by the time the disease develops to the point where it is dangerous, the rat dies (because of it's size? No one's really sure why).Your main concern should be rat carcass, feces and urine, which will make you very sick but will not likely kill you.

  • I'm sorry to hear ...

I'm sorry to hear that you have a rat infestation in your home. I used to have a mouse infestation and I was able to eliminate the problem in just less than 2 weeks. I did this by extensively checking the perimeter of my house to find where the mice where getting in. Once I sealed their entry point,I set up human traps in my house (in the kitchen). In total I caught about a dozen, and the problem was then solved. The main thing is their feces.Keep your food stored securely to avoid contamination.

  • Right now my house ...

Right now my house has rats, and I cant get shot of them, and I am worried about them carrying disease. Maybe when my house is overrun with disease carrying humans I will worry about them.
Can you back up your idea that humans are more likely to kill me with disease than rats?

Oh and I can avoid people who carry disease, rather than killing them. Not so easy with rats.

  • Actually, the mouse ...

Actually, the mouse would find food regardless of humans presence, because that's what it does, and it excels at it. In the wild, the human would starve. You should also concern yourself more with humans carrying disease as that is far more likely to kill you.

If society was run with by people with your mentality people would carry guns with them shooting at anyone they meet who has an illness. Because in the end it would come down to you, or someone with an illness. Easy choice?
