I do agree with you about feeling a sort of pity for Rameses; his stubborness is really hurting his people, but part of it is stemming from his father telling him he mustn't be the weak link in the chain. The ironic thing is, the harder he tries avoid being the weak link, the more his empire falls apart. ^^;;

The Pharaoh in the Bible on the other hand... he was a complete stranger to Moses and had no backstory, so I can't feel anything for that guy. XD;;;

you do know your right? because when Jesus was on earth he talked to God his father every day. so the two are different. but one in mind body and soul, because both wanted to save there people, and show that they we are children of God.

I wasn't comparing God to mist. I was just saying it as an example of how God the Father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit can all be God but still different.

I'd like to add that they should make another live action 10 Commandments, it's been like a trillion years since they made a good one. Not that the old one wasn't good (it was fantastic) but imagine what they could do with special effects now...

Still, when I watched the song today, a form of pity came as Rameses began to sing. Yes, I know that he's the reason why God is so angry, but it's not his fault. He just didn't want to be the "weak link" that his father said he would. After all, sons merely want to live up to the expectations of their fathers-unless they hate them, of course. He still brought the empire down...
