Truck Trial Drnovice 2007 Part 1

the smoke can vary so here logicly is necesary. The sound tells alot. The engine called T93e is 12 cilinder air cooled direct injection plant, so has a few power. here the buel and air mixture is more i meen is more fuel bekause in forced and need to make alot of power. has turbo compressors what help to enteer into the engine fast.
the 8x8 type of tatra kolos is realy powerfol and is a myth. bettwen european trucks. it is cool machine.

This trucks smokes like hell, but today's modern diesel cars can make a lot of smoke too! Not like this trucks of course, but still. You just don't use the power of your car enough to see it, so hit the gas and see! :-)

Why exactly do they always smoke like this? Are the engines tuned or so? Does every old Diesel smoke like that? Is it only because of the heavy load? Thanks!

Can someone explain how these contests are scored? how are points awarded or reduced? I love truck trials however it's not popular here in Canada. I understand the concept of trials riding motorcylce and bicycles, balance and fluidity.
