i know how we speak english here.d dress is not typical indian.d accent is a funny mix of hard 'r's, non existence of 'au's and permature termination of extended vowels. d menu is also not typical or exclusively Indian.
dere is an exclusively limited knowledge about Indians. if u dig a bit u'll see dis is called STEREOTYPING - d generalisation about the entire group on d basis of scant data culled from limited encounter wid very few representatives of d group.
but dis is pure fun.

sorry. actually when I posted that, I was mostly thinking about Russel Peters and that's why I said the states.

And what I'm saying is that the accent with which we speak here in India is quite different from what Indians in England or North America speak.

This isn't from the states it's from England mate, and it is pretty similar to the accent lol, I've been to Indian resturaunts and it sounds like this.

I'm an Indian from India. I've never ever been to the states, and I dont have any idea how immigrant Indian speak the english over there. Trust me, when we speak english, it doesn't sound anything remotely close to this or what Russel Peters speaks. We have a much different accent, which might be funny to you guys. But it's nothing like this. Dunno how this accent came up. It this has got nothing to do with racism or stuff. That's just how it is.
