I think this song was written by Jim Croce back in the 60's when he was performing with his wife Ingrid. The lyrics are as true today as they were when he wrote them. I love Jim Croce. I can't remember a lot as a child but I'll never forget the music of Jim Croce playin on my Dad's turntable. People always think of disco when they think of the 70's but to me it's Jim Croce.
