So here's our totally awesome log splitter, this thing makes cutting firewood a breeze.

Powered by a 4hp gas engine, the big wheel is turned by a small rubber tire to allow it to slip in the event that anything jams in there.

Since everyone's telling me that I'm guaranteed to lose life or limb by running this thing please donate to my hydraulic splitter fund by sending funds to chalackd (at) yahoo.com via paypal. As soon as I can afford it I'll go get a nice shiny hydraulic unit and scrap this thing.

    No, I suppose that it doesn't. But the fact that I'm still willing to run it even though it's not the safest piece of equipment ever designed. Along with the 50 cars that are parked around the yard, my general attitude towards politics, and the fact that I have never had nor wanted a job that doesn't put me out in the elements, that's what makes me a redneck.

    No idea if it's at all availible in Canada. Here in Sweden there are several makers with similar specs. They seem to cost about 25-30k SEK, ive seen one on sale for 18k.
