Science is in EVERYTHING!

I agree that there is not one swing for everyone, Mediate just proved that, but for anyone who wants a starting point or has a similar body type and/or swing Tiger's swing is a good place to learn from.

Why does science has to contradict art? A mechanically sound swing is a beautiful thing to watch and it produces a beautiful result.

Just my 2 cents. Golf is an art form not a science. Would you break down the monemnts of Bruce Lee? No? MJ as he double pumped and spinned to a finger roll? No? Because sports is artisic at it's purest. As an artist the look of his swing is great to marvel but irrelevant to geting the ball in the hole quicker than anyone else!

Tiger very rarely hooks the ball, his bad shot is a block to the right because he sometimes gets trapped at impact.

Some of you people are talking ludacrously, if Tiger Woods wasn't a good golfer he wouldn't be where he is today, irrelevant of his motion. I think it's brilliant, personally. But, realise this; no golf swing is incorrect if it is repeated every time. I personally find that's the key to becoming a decent golfer, being consecutive.

i just wana point out dat anyone who has tried to critizize this motion is has made absolutly no sense wat so evr!! everything he's is doing it is for a reason!! i tink some ppl my have read one to many articles in golf digest for there own good!! nd r forgetting about the effect you want the clubface to have on the ball!!!

his head dips because he does the power squat. It is suppose to be in his swing, that is how he has designed it.

Not that much tho, he's lucky he doesnt hook the ball.. buut i guess it works coz of his wild shoulder and hip action

That's what you call "weight shift", and he's able to maintain his upper body stable while turning his hip on downswing.

You can be sure, Tiger only hit that ball 50 yards... Foe shizzle my Nizzle... Quite a good swing anyway.

IMO the spine is a hair too far to the right, it would produce a lateral movement effect it was that close to his hips --

This is an interesting video. Watching this ...I get the strange feeling that I am watching a science fiction movie of a scientist studying an alien being from another galaxy. You sit there with your slide rule intensely watching this hoping that you can... mimic what you see. But in reality you can watch the video a million times but you can not reproduce the motion. You can't mimic his mind, his body, or his experiences. Hey...stop watching this and get out and play. Have fun!!!
