So say we ban them today. And go turn my guns in. But the red/blue American "aborigines" don't. You know why they don't because they are criminals... You still didn't take the "bad" guns off the street... You just left me and my family unprotected, because although you may be able to choke a defenseless person to death with a cookie, you aren't defending you family with one. And ANYONE who has had to deal with the police knows better than to expect them to be anywhere around when you need them.

you could use the same arguement for fire, "ban fire cause you could burn someone with it", or pens,or or plastic bags, or forks, or cookies "ban cookies you could shove them down someones throat till they died'. guns are for killing dude, thats that, and maybe if you have them around a lot, its more likely you'll think about using them. you live in a gun culture socitey, you're actually defending guns, i hear your points, but to me it's so crazy, but thats your world. good luck to you brother.

a cars main function transportation. a guns function is to kill. semi auto+ weapons are for killing people. we have gun laws here prohibiting semi and hand guns, guns for hunting and farmers can still be held by permits. we live in different worlds my friend, your soloution to gun problems sounds like it is more guns. our prime minister was strong enough to bring in laws getting our guns destroyed after our worst massacre ever. if your president tried that, he'd probably get shot. more guns!!

You don't need a gun to kill alot of people by yourself. Nothing is stopping you from jumping in your car and plowing down a whole 1st grade class, or a bunch of old ladies. A car is a tool, like a gun. It can be easily mis-used. Should we outlaw them too?

obviously, murders have happened since the dawn of time. but guns enable one person to be able to kill many, quickly, without strength. americans are so strange with their gun facination, it's just so sad. there is such a better way of thinking about the world, and a better way for the world to become. we'll lead the way over here, and one day maybe people like you will learn to listen. maybe when there is a school shooting, and 150 or 200 are killed, maybe then america will regret their guns.

i do study history, but i live in the present. thoughts of hundreds of years ago, if they are still benifiting the socitey of today, should be lilistened too, but if they are so destructive that they allow people to be killed, human life to be so randomly taken, all in the name of waiting for something that may never happen, it,s so stupid. the second ammendment is an outdated ideal. anyway, again, i live in australia, 300 gun deaths compared to 10 000+.good luck to you, remeber to duck.

You really should look up the second ammendment of the US Constitution... You really need to realize that they wrote that when the country was new, yes.... BUT they studied history (and obviously you do not). It's a precaution.
