Conflicting news reports surfaced today, centered around what's happening with the Snow White and The Huntsman sequel, and if K-Stew is IN or OUT. The original plan was to do 2 Snow White movies, and then a 3rd film focusing on The Huntsman—similar to how X-Men made 2 films, and then did the Wolverine spinoff. The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Kristen has been dropped from the production on the second film, while it's likely that Rupert Sanders will stay on to direct. A rep from Universal Pictures said, "The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise," which kinda leads us to believe that things are still VERY up in the air and no decisions have been made. And on that note, other media outlets are saying that Kristen might still actually appear in any follow-up Snow White movies. Gossip Cop is reporting that Kristen hasn't been dropped, and that a script isn't even in place yet, so how would anyone even know which actors are needed for the next film? Similarly, the LA Times is hinting that the movie about The Huntsman could instead be the next film in the franchise, and that Kristen's character very well could appear.
