Didnt know Elvis did this song n so beautifully at that the pictures n song brought tears to my eyes he was so loved!

What's truly amazing is that this studio version was unknown to the Elvis fans who compiled lists of song Elvis was believed to have recorded or performed live. The same is true for the informal studio jam of "Tiger Man" from '75. Off everyone's radar, RCA's included. Makes one wonder what else could exist, lost between other songs or on other unknown spools of tape waiting to be found.

The King's version has a lot more vibrato than Old Blue Eyes' version. Each version has its own strengths. I like them both.

i love this song!! it remembers me at my old class teacher of me. i'm sure i will listen to this song every day, because my teacher is dead till the last thursday and today was his, in german means "beerdigung", and his family plays this song there. i won't cry, but when i listen to this song this morning, i cried very much!!! it's a wonderful song!!!
