Alrighty. So for those who watched .hack//ROOTS and then played .hack//GU should know that as the anime series came to a close, Haseo finally got into a fight against the infamous "Tri-Edge." During the fifth scene of the game of .hack//GU, this scene is replayed to us in a 3D CG state, much better looking than the fight portrayed in the anime.

So, what this video is, is a comparison between the two fights. Nothing more. Not a voiceover comparison between the Japanese and the English actors or anything, just a comparison of the fights.

That being said, enjoy.

And also, you may notice how the Anime voiceover is in Japanese, while the cutscene from the game is in English. This is because I couldn't find the Japanese cutscene, so I just used the English one.

THERE ARE ALSO MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS REVEALED, SO DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPOIL IT FOR YOURSELF.

Azure Kite, Azure Balmung, and Azure Orca were created by Aura to kill aida, but they are incomplete because she didn't have time to finish and her memories were hazy. and notice at the end of the vid: Haseo looks at Ovan. Kite was aiming at Ovan, but haseo was in the way. just think of it as you being blocked by someone, and they won't let you pass and keep resisting your efforts. what would you do? the answer if to push them out of the wat. but Haseo didn't stay out, he just stared.

    ok the anime fight kite put up a fight wial in the game fight kite just stood there like wth are u doing. LAWL but on that the reason why hasao lost is he was given power that was alowed in the game wial kite's alt's power exist's outside the games rules. Plus hasao was not ready to handle the old school kite anyway :P
