Yes, although it can be a bit of a misnomer. First of all, euphoniums and baritones are actually tenor instruments. The true 'baritone' has a narrower bore, especially the last couple of feet before the bell. And its tonal color is brighter and harder than the euphonium, which has a more French horn-like timbre.

Is a Euphonium also referred to as a "Baritone?"..... amazing job, one of my favorite tunes, it almost seems like there's 2 instruments playing....phew!

Mouthpieces are fairly interchangeable. Euphonium players tend to like different types than trombonists, though. Trombone mouthpieces also do not come in "medium" shank versions -- just tenor or bass shank.

First off this sounds so awesome!!!!!! second off where i live their is absolutely no euphonium/baritone players anywhere, and i was wondering do the mouth pieces resemble tuba or trombone more?
