    I am a future nurse midwife and an active Doula. For expectant mothers viewing your series I would recommend to them the research offered that backs up your assertion that for a normal pregnancy Home Birth may be safer than delivering in a hospital. Try the Thinking Women's Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth and/or Our Body's Ourselves; Pregnancy and Childbirth. Both contain citations for the data that support that position.

    I definately need to have my boyfriend watch this. He has a daughter & son from his first wife. She ended up having them both in the hospital by c-section. I told him that if we ever had a child I wanted to have it at home. He was practically almost panic stricken by the idea saying that I could have complications & that I'd be better off in the hospital. I thought absolutely not - no way!!. He definately needs to watch this. Thanks for the information.
