Pushing the Old Honda CBR 1000

Hi i have a cbr 1000 fh, love it wouldnt have anything else...
i recently dropped my timing chain guide seized my engine.
anyway good to see another one on the road mine should be soon.. hope to see a few more clips...

I bought my hurricane (built in '87, imported in '94from Canada to Holland) in 1994 and still have it. Was so happy when i could buy another CBR from '87 for the parts, costed only €1000,- now I'm sure me and my cbr will never part. it runs and shows like new and still keeps up with many new ones. Nice to read there are more of me all over the globe.

my father has got a cbr 1000 F he bought brand new since '92 and it still have all origin parts , it seems it was bought yesterday . not to mention it already has thousands of quilometres by foreign countries... i love this moto very much also. :D

Thank you for the memories, I had one just the same. great bike, could do anything and keep up with most bikes.
I used to cruise with a mate on his ZZR1100 at 200km/h+ on the back roads, and could chase sports bikes through the hills because they couldn't handle the rough roads.
I only sold it so I could buy a house...

Does that bike have 38.000 mile on it? Mine has 36000 and runs just fine!!! and still very strong. I believe these bike were quite underated and fly beautifully at high speed. I wont part with mine I use the new one for daily driving its a 1000 as well but I doesnt feel like the Hurricane at speeds over 120mph.

mmmmm very nice!!! ive got one of these but its farrr to nice to rag the bollocks off ive spent the last 3 years cleaning and polishing! am gearing up to selling it but i cant do it!!!
