The release of iOS 6 brings many new and exciting features to iOS devices. If you've ever been too busy to answer a call, you'll appreciate the new options added to the Phone app.
When you decline an incoming call in iOS 6, you now have the option to set a callback reminder or quickly reply to the call with an iMessage or SMS. It's a pretty neat feature that can really come in handy when you're in the middle of something.
The great part is, these messages are customizable. You can set three different quick reply messages that can be sent when you decline a call.
If you'd like to setup quick reply messages on your iPhone, watch the video or follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go into the Settings app on your device.
Step 2: Next, scroll down to "Phone" and tap on it.
Step 3: Under the "Calls" section, tap on the row labeled "Reply with Message."
Step 4: On this screen, you'll have three empty rows to utilize for the custom messages. The message will always begin with, "Can't talk right now..." follow by your custom reply. To set your custom messages, tap on a row and use the keyboard to type in a reply. Continue this process until you've set all of your quick reply messages.
The next time a call comes in that you can't answer, swipe up on the phone icon and tap on "Reply with Message" to quickly send an iMessage or SMS.
