The M113 5.5 ML is a supercharged and twin-intercooled version of the 5.4 L (5439 cc) M113 E55. Output is 493 hp (368 kW) (469 hp for the E55 AMG) at 6100 rpm with 516 ft.lbf (700 Nm) of torque at 2750-4000 rpm.

    Damn, wished one of those guys was in my tool box kit in the trunk. In case something in my engine goes bad, it wouldn't take him long to fix it.

    I don't like the 5.5L, 3v/c was a bit crappy. The new 6.2l (6.3) v8 is much better, vvt and 4v/c. Although I still think they lack in design compared to BMW, merc rely too much on forced induction to achive more than 100bhp/L. Even the new N/A 6.2 only revs to 7,200rpm. I prefer the BMW V8, even the Audi 4.2 FSI is better, Merc just need those 2 extra liters... I will admit though, very torquey, even as low as 2000rpm. Kinda like a pushrod in that respect... but not, if yo know what I mean.
