This burner can be bought on ebay. It's just a Propane Bunsen, about $10. A good alternative to the ball needle.

The Base is completely solid metal, so I think it dissapates the heat evenly. The tip doesn't even get hot to the touch, even with the flame on!

I have another video that is another copy of sirHOAX, heating an Aluminum Cooling Fin.

    Actaully it can get RED HOT, but isn't via the cast base. I'm guessing you haven't seen the basketball needle get RED HOT burning the same gasses? So what you're telling me it is just the hho in the basketball needle that is ticking the needle off to make it blush?

    This was a Stainless steel wall plate design with 5 plates. +N-N+ was the config.

    Electrolyte we used about a half teaspoon draino to 1 quart of water.

    Volts 12, amps 12.
