    Oh yeah. I read 1 Stooge book, way back when I don't think there were more than 1 or 2, and that was the story in there. Since then, I read as many articles as I can, and since the internet came about, I have even more sources to draw from. A few details vary slightly, from one version to another. I watched the Moe interview here on YT, and even he got some of the minor details a bit off. I do computer art. I didn't get any work done yesterday, because I was caught up in my Stooge Quest.

    Shemp played the bully in the stage version, but when he replaced Curley in the film version, Moe was already established as the bully in that, so Shemp had to shift roles. He did a good job, as a victim. Especially for someone more accustomed to the bully role. He was only supposed to be filling in for Curley, till he got better, which he never did.
