You are a great teacher. You should teach an art class. The way you speak makes people want to listen to you and keep going. It's hard to give up with you teaching it.

I like the pencils you use. Seem to be working quite well. I usually buy an artist kit with all pencils and holders

i want to reach the manga drawings.
evrybody says that i am verry good in drawing.
but i...i see my drawings a little of a kids style. what i want to reach is a real drawing,like of it is the same like real life you know. and you..you are a verry big idol of me. so i have 1 question: can ya plz tell me how to reach manga drawing level?

I have an odd question, when I'm drawing, and usually when I'm cross hatching, I seem to loose focus visually. Almost like I'm staring past the paper. It almost feel a bit like a trance. So I seem to loose control of the picture. Does this just mean I should concentrate harder?

well im 12 years old and i draw 2-3 hours a day i get much better every day and just today i stumbled accross this vid and WOW i learnt alot thx now ill draw lots of little sketches -steven

when i draw, i have a HB, and i shape like brand new lipstick you know like shapern it and then shade for a few minutes on one side so that i will have an edge on the side so that i can shade with that side, and put detail on with the other, do you recomend me not to do this????

I prefer charcoal. I just chose to use regular graphite for these videos because everyone is familiar with them. Charcoal will behave differently but you can use it. -Jason

hey, i have a couple of charcoal pencils but do those help with drawing or would i be better off using a regular pencil?

the only way i draw is to sketch really this helps alot!! i am a young artist so i will becom better over the years
