  • Hey... Hi... ...

    Hey... Hi...

Once you've got the basics working why can't you steal the coil from dad's old volvo & run your pulse current through that & pick-up the high-voltage kickback that normally goes to the distributor & spark plugs & run that through the pulse-push part of the Bedini coil thingy... Surely as-long as you were careful to add some sort of rectifier or resistor or capacitor (Probably the latter) the extra voltage from the coil from da's volvo will be more efficient & powerful..? Maybe..?

  • Is Bedini too ...

Is Bedini too stupid to know about the surface charge on a battery or is he just hoping everyone else is that stupid. You can do the same thing with a few electronic parts you don't need a motor & generator.
Ether way you don't gain anything.

  • Sorry if I seem a ...

Sorry if I seem a bit sharp it's because I'm trying to answer everyone as quick has possible very short on time. I have underestimated the response from youtube members on the whole subject. I have been getting over 30 youtube mails a day, so I have to be short and quick with my replies otherwise my mail box/inbox gets overrun. If any one out there has not yet had a response to any mail sent, I will get to you ASAP.

  • You may find the ...

You may find the coating is to help stop corrosion and to eliminate vibration from the plates. Maybe most of all is to prevent noise and to help with stability of the coil construction.
I know that's a bit of a short copout but that's mainly the reason for the coating.

  • i only ask because ...

i only ask because i have already pulled apart several transformers in my search for usable magnet wire, and always found that the laminations are coated with a nonconductive layer. I know this because i had to scrape this layer off when using the metal as a jumper between 2 batteries...sorry to go on about it...

  • I have never come ...

I have never come across any multiple cores that has individually insulated segments. But would be interested to see one. Thanks for your questions. Sorry if it seems like the above was a bit blunt but its hard to answer some questions with the 500 word count. I will also get back to your question on the forum soon.

  • This was copied ...

This was copied directly from Bedini's work. What I am saying, this unit was built the Bedini way the core is what Bedini calls for. Thanks for the question but I don't want to be pulled in to this one has it will turn in to a long drawn out 2ing and throwing with this subject. What I will say is have a look at any transformer of coil even a relay and see how they are put together. You will find the answer there. Sorry but some subjects are best left alone.

  • so the welding rods ...

so the welding rods you used were uncoated? i was under the impression that core laminations should be insulated from each other to reduce eddy current circulation?..
