countless celebrities do blow. it's only bad when they get photographed and exploited, otherwise, its their own damn business, who are we to stick our noses in their private lives.

she's beautiful and riveting, period, and yes, talented. so what she does coke? lots of people in the modeling industries, and many others, do it.

"lines" (spoken ones) are precisely the point - words are tools of expression, tools a model does not weild.
Just like in fiction it's a lot easier to "tell" (dialogue or in-story hearsay) rather than to "show" (description), the more tools for expression one has at his disposal, the easier the task may become.
No, I don't mean Kate per say, there are and were better models out there.

Well, you see, it's very possible to look good - like a cardboard cut-out.
But models have to be expressive - their job is to convey a whole lot through very little (I know, I know, we've all seen some completely "walking-dead"-style models, but those are either bad models, poorly staged shows or both), just like it takes a really good actor/actress to express a lot of emotions through nuances of gesture, expression and gaze, some models can be indeed very talented.

Models from the late 80's early nineties were defiantly the best. Look at the Versace runways and see cindy crawford and stephanie seymour, and you'll see that Kate moss is just a wannabe who's living in the shadow of the 80's!
