Storm spotter don't have to "aware the town". They call it in to NOAA, and immediately issue tornado warnings BECAUSE of their call.

what are you talking about dude. they dont even use the fujita scale anymore. the f scale only ever went up to 5. this was the tornado that set history forever. this is the one that called for f6 to be made oficial. then it was changed to the enhanced fujita scale, which still only goes to 5. there is no such thing as f7 and this is by far the worst tornado ever recorded on the planet. listen to it again, 318 mph winds. they rewrote f5 to include that after this storm.

Amazing, huge, and dangerous. Awesome tornado, but is it really the most devistating tornado on Earth? Or just in Oklahoma. The person on the news just said that it made the record for Oklahoma

Actually the fujita scale now goes to F7. F7 has only happened a very few times in history, and granted this is a terrible tornado. I do know that they did have a few really bad ones in the past few years, but that tornado was a monster. I would say it is an F6 because of the amount of damage it caused. Wow I vividly remember hearing the sirens blare and then my whole family ran to the basement of the neighboring house. That was one confused and mixed up day.
