LOL! Under normal circumstances Gomez would have never been put against Cotto. The people behind the ring know the sport so well they know whom to put against whom. Contender show brought these boxers into the spotlight and made them look like they were worthy opponents. Not a chance.

Cotto vs Mayweather would be a great fight, I think Cotto actually can force Floyd into fihgting as opposed to tugging and pulling like he did for the first 6 rounds like he did against dela hoya and hatton.

I've watched like the last 10 fights of cotto. and this cat actually gotten a little bit stronger and way quicker than before. It'll be the highlight with mayweather.

I would have to disagree with octbulldoxer214, Cotto has a great chin, he can take a punch as well at give one out, his is a great boxer and the mayweather cotto fight is something to wait on it will be a great match. But, Mayweather is going to fight De La Hoya again, i say boycott that PPV fight. If mayweather beats cotto then beats Suger Shane then i will give him his props. I just need to see that before anything then i will give him the credit he diserves

i personally cant wait to see cotto vs. margarito. i believe if margarito can withstand the body punches he can eventually wear cotto down. but all in all i believe cotto will find a way to defeat him. if not, so much for cotto vs. mayweather. either way it should be a good fight.
