Star Blazers Intro

I was only 5 when I first saw this series in Germany where my father was stationed, and ever since then I tried to find the intro because of all the cartoons that I've seen this was the only one I remembered all the words to.

yes!!!!...this used to come on crazy early in the morning before school along with speed racer and the mighty heroes. classic material!

I have been looking for this for YEARS...sad I know...but YES...I finaly found it...I find myself humming this song on occision...lol

Watched this and Speed Racer after school everyday. Loved it!

This was the only show that was shown in both English (KCOP 13) & In Japanese (KSCI 18) in Southern California!! The Movie version (Space Cruiser Yamato) was shown on KTLA 5 as part of the "Family Film Festival" series. Host Tom Hatton once shown a Japanese version of T.V.Guide promoting the show WITH A FREE BLUEPRINT OF THE YAMATO inserted in the guide!!

I used watch this show here in the Inland Empire in 1979 , 1980 in the morning before school and after school around 4pm. on channel 13 kcop. Post- Battle of the planets and Speed Racer, Benny and Cecil of course. StarBlazers was the "S**t " back then..

This was the first anime I watched that I knew had been made in Japan. I was clueless about Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets.

I watched the first movie when I was a kid... (It was shown at the movie theaters here in Mexico, hehe...). Marvelous!!!
