The third in a series showing how to make a FN P90 replica utilizing your Ruger 10/22 rifle. Not to be confused with the Ruger pistol called a "P90".
It's the voice God gave me. Sorry.

By BackwoodsHunterX [Affiliate User] 1213719891 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI did sell one over a year ago on ebay and it did really well. RIght now there is one on sale on ebay ending June 2, it's only at about $30 right now. I can't tell by the photo if he built it well or not. I might build another one to sell if I get enough free time though. Search "clone ps90" on ebay. I think since he used "PS90" in the title, people are not finding his auction.

By tacoman2142 [Affiliate User] 1212169212 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHehe, sure no problem. Here is another in tone of a plant lover:
"How can you kill those small helpless plants? It isn't right! At least my food can defend itself!"
Anyhow, have you considered reselling these stocks?
lol
Thanks for the laugh.

By phantomhunter21 [Affiliate User] 1211637025 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSome dimemencions I got from friend said that it might just work, but I still worried about the mag well it looks really tight
By PhantomSoldier904 [Affiliate User] 1211116154 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI really like the look of the L85. I can see where the mag well and the ejection port are positioned, on top of each other. The Ruger as you know has the bolt/ejection port behind the magazine. Hard to tell if it would fit by just looking at pictures. The Ruger receiver and the mags are 1 1/4" wide. Is the body of the L85 wide enough, and tall enough to hold it? If you're like me, you want it to look real, and not hack up the stock's looks to make it work. Tough call.
By taofledermaus [Affiliate User] 1210925875 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveOkay I've seen the AUG body on the Ruger, so I know I could do that, but what about a L85? The thing that worries me is the mag well.
By PhantomSoldier904 [Affiliate User] 1210895822 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDoesnt matter, project was scraped do to the seller. So time look for something different. Im thinkin a L85 or an AUG. OR the Muzzle Lite which I dis-like. I'd like to do a TAVOR but I can't find anything like it.
By PhantomSoldier904 [Affiliate User] 1210780407 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe Muzzlelite looks -close- to the Type 95, but you can see on the stock where they enlarged it to cover the Ruger trigger. The other things you have to consider is if the stock is wide enough for the Ruger, where the magazine lines up, and how you are going to run a linkage. I got really lucky with the P90.
By taofledermaus [Affiliate User] 1210757354 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou're probably right. I just got my order in, so when I recive it I play around with and let you know.
By PhantomSoldier904 [Affiliate User] 1210705389 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe stock on the Type 95 is pretty small, and looking at pictures, it may not be large enough to hold the Ruger. I think the Ruger's trigger may stick out the bottom of the stock.
By taofledermaus [Affiliate User] 1210670484 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIm look into doing this with a PLA Type-95 springer instead of buying a MuzzleLite stock for the Ruger.
By PhantomSoldier904 [Affiliate User] 1210616990 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGreat! I have yet to hear anyone else attempt this yet. Feel free to ask me questions if you run into any trouble. -And definitely post a video of it.
By taofledermaus [Affiliate User] 1210320436 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHmm, I like the idea behind this, gonna build one for my weekly steel matches comps.. I gone ahead and ordered a Well D-90, hopefully I'll get it soon.
By Point1pull [Affiliate User] 1210281762 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove:) I might take it up someday but not right now. Good luck !!
By ireallyjustdunno [Affiliate User] 1209234473 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI saw a video on YT of a guy who converted a G36 and it looked decent. I have 2 AK's and they look like they might work. I haven't opened them up yet to examine them internally. Just eye-balling it with my template of the 10/22, the trigger lines up and the mag well lines up with the AK's. With the gas tube and sights of the AK, those might make it a little harder to do.
By taofledermaus [Affiliate User] 1209110001 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove:) or if you get an mp5 or more likely a g36,you can use the actual 10/22 action's trigger as teh real trigger, but it wouldn't be bullpup. Like, are you familiar with AEG airsoft internals? Like, put the action in where the gearbox would normally go, and see if the 10/22 action's magazine well fits with the existing feeding well...
By ireallyjustdunno [Affiliate User] 1209064766 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAh, I didn't even think about getting the parts separately from TM. Besides the shell, you'd only need the trigger to complete it. I'll have to look into that more.
By taofledermaus [Affiliate User] 1209064432 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyeah that's actually true lol. But hey, they actually sell TM P90 parts (a 2 part shell, bottom + rail) for liike $60 for one part.
By ireallyjustdunno [Affiliate User] 1209060778 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe real P90 uses plastic in the stock, and the TM or CA probably use a similar grade plastic, which is of higher grade than what's used in this Well P90, I am sure. Despite that, this stock can handle moderate shooting well, and I have not cracked the stocks or damaged them. I'd love to build this using a TM stock, but it would be a shame to chop it up, plus the expense of the TM stock would be more than the entire cost of a new Ruger 1022.
