do you have to replace the x clamps i went step by step but i didnt replace the x clamps could that be the problem because i still have the lights

I heard that when the 360 gets too hot, the GPU starts to vibrate and become loose, causing the RRoD. If I where you guys, I would take something on the GPU to make sure that it won't vibrate and become loose and breakdown.

BUY THE $18.98 with shipping kit that has all of this stuff and it even comes with a .pdf guide that is comprehensive I highly recommend look it up on ebay under 3 red light fix.

Yea its called heat sink compound.

There is.I fixed my xbox with my dad(which is a electronic tech.)and he said you can buy a thermal paste or a heat sink compound at usually at radio shack or somewhere like that and use that.the heat sink should work really well.its usually about around $5 or so.And personally you can probably fix your xbox by yourself.I think you don't even need to put these stuff in your xbox just A LOT of heat sink compound.

i did everything you said. it worked for a little while then stopped working. even now when i try to play nba live once i get to the court the screen freezes and turn green. the red ring of death comes on and of periodically do you know whats wrong should i do it all over again. is there a specific type of thermal paste. what should i do.

use a screwdriver that has a hook in the end of it

can you explain how to take out the x clamps again
im really scared that i might brake it cuz when i try taking it out it bends but doesnt click out and then the mother board is getting scared
