Many people are saying artists sound like daft punk.. or "(such and such) is the new daft punk". It's also not coincidental that many people are morons, and can't create a logical progression of thought. I can say that a dog barking sounds like Daft Punk in so far as they both create vibrations in the air. Everything can be compared to anything. Don't just spit garbage out because it seems right. Form an actual intelligent thought.

Any electronic band that uses a standard funk bass and a talk box is going to sound similar to Daft Punk.
