i agree, they have been trying to end this thing for like 4 years now and the NBA is trying to get the top dogs to participate. First though they have to change the name because "rising stars" sounds weak.

what? better than the human highlight reel or his Royal Airness? did you see any of the dunks Jordan and Nique threw down in theier dunk contest in the late 80's? Put howard against Jordan or nique for that matter both in their prime and howard would lose. he would not get humiliated, but he would lose. Plain and simple.

Haha compared to the rest of his dunks, this one was BO-RING. Still fantastic and a hell of a lot better than Gerald "No-Shoes" Green's final dunk.

The commentaries trying to say that dwight howards is bringing the excitement back...I DONT THINK SO....I think the only thing that would bring the excitement back is for everyone that is considered a great contestant for this event should join and compete against each other....for ex Lebron....carter..kobe...right?

he was up so high he was able to throw the ball DOWN at the rim, thats impressive in my book, just for the pure fact of the elevation he got!!
