The more I learn about the band Boston, the more I love Brad Delp and look upon Tom Sholz
    as a fraud.

  • Scholz talks a good ...

Scholz talks a good talk in the song "Rock 'n Roll Band" but it is all a charade for him really. Scholz never commited himself to touring even after the behemoth first record.
Scholz never hungered for it from an inner place like Delp does. In this way Scholz is a fraud. Like a lot of white rappers.

  • Sholz did not need ...

Sholz did not need money or promo yet he put the band Boston in these goofy sporting event gigs. I cannnot believe with the kind of intimacy the public had with Delps voice on those songs that the band Boston was never a touring behemoth like U2 the Stones Zeppelin etc...THe reason..Scholz didn't want to validate the beautiful and profound relationship DELPS voice had with the public. Scholz was completely happy living in his studio "its all mine" mindset.

  • Facts #1. Brad ...

    Facts
#1. Brad Delp was the most important element of the band Boston (By Far).
#2. Tom Sholz's entire apporoach to music is ultimately cartoonish. But he got lucky by finding a golden goose in Delps voice which gave a marketable and credible and humanly compelling feel to the Boston songs.
#3. Tom Scholz never developed a proper respect and passion for the ritual that is a live rock concert. This is confirmed by these goofy sporting event gigs (NE Patriots)
he did he took Delp into.

Doesn't it seem like its always the lead singer that kills them self, if there is a suicide in a band. Or in bad fingers case BOTH lead singers killed themselves.
