how about to protect against a tyrannical government? It's not impossible, even here in the U.S. Look at Russia, Venezuela, Iran, or China for examples of why there should be guns. How about for personal protection? There are more criminal killed each by citizens in self-defense than by police. Besides, banning guns would only take them away from regular people. Criminals get their's illegally. Even in the UK criminals have guns. And it's a gestapo-island when it comes to customs..

Yes, that's my point. Guns should be banned. There is no justifiable reason today for any civilian to own one. You only have to look at the incredible gun crime figures in the US to see this.

totally unacceptable. He disregarded weapon safety when he allowed a full mag to be inserted in a classroom, when he chambered a round, and when he touched the trigger. As a result, he lost control of his teaching ability in that classroom, and now another room full of kids are going to fear guns, because of his stupid mistakes.

They showed this in my CCW class. The point of it was to always be aware of where you point the weapon. He asked his partner to double check the weapon to see if it was clear but still had a accidental discharge.
