omggg...that is scary..made my inside hurt...u did a good job with the costums. expecially the 4th one (bottom right picture) kinda reminded me of tomb raider

The evaporated milk makes it so the jello is opaque. It looks more "realistic" if you can't see through it. :)

But you can certainly make it without it. Just be sure to substitute the amount of the evaporated mil with water.

just a question: why do you need the evaporated milk?

Sure, you can use cherry! Eric (the director) likes that flavor. To get a more "realistic" brain look, you should use something like peach jello, or something that is very light pink when mixed with the evaporated milk. But Eric and I don't like peach flavored jello, so we went with a less "real" looking, but just as gross red variety. It might have even been cherry, come to think of it.
