  • Never take a car ...

    Never take a car off the lot until the financing is finalized. They will tell you its ok to take the car but don't do it. Also forget trading in a car you have, you never get what its worth and if you still owe on it they many not pay the car off and you are on the hook for that. Finally its best to get financing ahead of time from your bank, credit union or in-line institution. Don't use the dealership unless they can beat the rate, which they usually can't.
