Canon XL1S

Wow, you do not S**t about the Canon XL1 or XL1s. "Thingy", huh? Hey man, here is an idea, why do you not slam around a 3-4 thousand dollar camcorder. Another idea, try recording yourself onto a better camcorder so you do not reverb.

i was connecting my xl1s to my computer using my dv output to my computers dv input...my new computer has ieee/firewire inputs...please help me...what exact cable do i need to buy

It would be great if you could re-render this with some filtering on the audio track. The harsh peaking from the overblasted audio track is *really* hard to listen to.

yeah the XL1-S can use the p&s technik or redrock micro adapter's for 35mm lenses. pretty sweet really.

Did you know, that the director use that camera for filming the movie, 28 Days later. Rent that movie and you'll see the quality of that film. It look, like it was filmed with a 35mm film camera. But, shot with that very digital camcorder, u just showed on your video.
