Origami Swan made of 501 pieces (16 sheets of A4 paper). It took about 12 hours to produce the modules, and less than an hour to build the swan.
The result is awesome!

    I don't know. It just happened ;)
This swan was my second. The first attempt produced rather poor swan... So you just have to try and learn on your own mistakes.

  • Try putting ...

Try putting additional triangles in the neck, so it consists, say, of 35 instead of 30 triangles. Use bigger force to put them together, so the neck is stable. If you now can't shape it into S, add another couple of triangles.

  • Cutting tips? You ...

Cutting tips? You have to cut your sheet of paper into 32 *identical* little pieces. The only thing that I noticed when making the triangles is that the 'legs' are less important than the 'pocket'. So you have to have straight crease in the centre of the 'pocket'. The tips of the legs may not come to one point when folded together, but the pocket must be absolutely straight.

  • Awesome video. ...

    Awesome video.

Your pieces look so perfect. I've done one before but all my pieces came out different sizes lol. Any cutting tips?

I don't know if you know, but if you alternate the direction of the rows eg, construct R2 - Clockwise, R3 - Anti-Clockwise, R4 - Clockwise etc, it will level the pieces out, making the wings for example, point to each other at the top.
