  • the dimple effect ...

the dimple effect would most certainly help where the canopy joins. instead of using regula tape, use tape that has been drilled out to make the surface like one of a gold ball. guarenteed results!!

  • i race a different ...

i race a different type of 3 wheeled HPV for 24 hours in australia..ive in fact had wind tunnel time in a vehicle with "golf ball" dimmples around the surface where the canopy(outer shell) was its widest. it was interesting to see that it did help when it came to air seperation. the idea, in my opinion, certainly has a lot of potential. no formula 1 cars arent using it but time trial bikes and helmets are experimenting with the idea. it would be worth experimenting with in your kind of racing.

"Kevlar is what bullet proof vests are made of!"
When are we going to get over that?
If this was 3000BC we'd be saying "This bike is build of bronze. That's the material that everything is made of."

    LOL.

  • The "dimples" ...

The "dimples" reduce the drag and the spinning helps the ball go up.

I sure would like to know you broke a new record using "dimples" on your fuselage. :)

I started my prototype and got to meet the Canadian HPV association working on a submarine, but I find myself short of time and funds, maybe you can test this "dimple" effect on your fuselage.

Do you see a possibility to try this out?

I'd like to go play a round of golf with you testing plain and dimpled golf balls. :)
