I haven't made your version, but I'd like to just say that I like to make mine with pork (thinly sliced belly meat that's been cut into 1"x.25" strips) oh and black pepper. So basically, in my family, when we bbq pork belly meat, at the end, we cook the last few pork pieces with kimchee and the dipping sauce for the pork (salt + pepper + sesame oil) and rice.

Anyways, you might want to try that :)

Can't give up any part of kimchi, so valuable...LOL you are absolutely correct about that. I would even use every drop of kimchi sauce and eat it with rice. That fried rice looks delicious once again. You are going to make me become fat with all of your great cooking videos hehe. Cheers!!!

haha.. I've never heard that we shouldn't eat top part of kimchi before. Do you know why ??? hehe... yes..I eat it..can't give up any part of my kimchi.. so valuable ..especially if you have to make it by yourself...hehe.. thanks for comment !!!

Since I moved to America, I just bought kimchi from stores. (In korea, of course I ate my mom's kimchi. ) Nowadays, I started to make my own kimchi with my mom's explanation. Someday, I'm going to post a kimchi video. Thanks !!!
